1.10.0 release early next week, hard freeze on Friday

Hi everybody,
short update on the 1.10.0 release situation. On Friday the hard freeze will start, and only patches that a) fix very bad bugs and b) someone else reviewed in Bugzilla and considered the patch to actually fix such a bad bad are allowed to be merged. On Tuesday, it is then planned to finally get 1.10.0 out, with the binary releases following a few days later that week.
