720p 60 playback with gstreamer is taking very high cpu usage

RamaVasu Gundimeda
Hi,

The 720p 60 frame rate clips are taking very hight cpu ( 95%) compared to lower frame rate clips (1080p 30/720p 25) cpu consumption (35%) . This huge increase in CPU usage is by Xorg rendering module . Why it is taking so much CPU. some kind rof ate conversion is applied ? How to fix/avoid this . Please le me know.

Regards,
vasu.

Hi,

Please give (a lot) more details about how you're playing those files,
what kind of files they are, what your system is like, etc...
