sorry if this is an old question, but I saw no way to search the archive
(and don't know the proper keywords)
I'm recording audio via 'alsasrc ! flacenc ! [oggmux !] filesink' and I
want to add some timed metadata to the stream (like chapter marks).
The tagging infrastructure (and vorbiscomment) seems to only support
non-timed tags that are written to the file header.
Or is the correct way to implement a GstElement and stream the metadata
in an app-specific format into the ogg container?
