Hello,
We'll probably roll another bug-fix release off the 1.8 branch in the not so distant future. If there's anything you think should be cherry-picked into the 1.8 branch for the release, please let us know ASAP (preferably by following up on the bug report with a request to pick the patches into 1.8, alternatively also as a follow-up to this mail if there is no bug report). Hi Tim,
I would cast a vote to include a fix for Bug 763663 - libvpx segfaults on Windows/x86. Looking at the activity log for this bug, it's not quite clear what the actual status is. At the bottom of the 1.8 release notes link it looks like this 'vp8enc crashes on 32 bit Windows' is still listed as a known issue. It's still not fixed and unknown why it fails. If someone finds a fix before 1.8.4 we can possibly include it. Tim was mostly talking about existing fixes that are already in GIT master and could be backported. -- Sebastian Dröge, Centricular Ltd · http://www.centricular.com _______________________________________________ gstreamer-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/gstreamer-devel signature.asc (949 bytes) Download Attachment |
