Apple HTTP Live Streaming status?

I just saw an article that mentioned that Nokia and CMI submitted 'work' last June to add Apple HTTP Live Streaming support to GStreamer. However, I can't find any reference to that on the GStreamer site. What is the status of the 'review' and is there any information available?

There is a hlsdemux plugin in gst-plugins-bad that should support it.
Please report any problems you have with it.
