I have just built gstreamer for Ubuntu 11.04 by configuring/making/make installing gstreamer 0.10.35 and the latest base, good, bad and ugly pl;uins. All were built with --enable-orc and --prefix=/usr. I apt-got various packages to get alsa, mad, lame, ogg, vorbis, theora and speex to builg.
Finally I downloaded gst-rtsp-0.10.8. I configured with --prefix=/usr. --enable-orc is not valid for rtsp-server.
Compile reports an error:
> configure: Using GStreamer Base Plugins in /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10
> checking for GST_CHECK... yes
> checking for check named check_pic - version >= 0.9.2... no
> *** Could not run check test program, checking why...
> *** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for
> *** the exact error that occured.
The config.log is attacched.
Despite the error(s), the configure tells me to go ahead and compile and install. Aftering installing I run ./examples/test-video which fails with "Server not attached".
Can some one tell me what's up here?
