CPU usage for each element

Is there any way to inspect and report the CPU usage for each element?

Not yet.

I found a plugin called gst-instruments. It seems to be just what I need. However, I cannot install that successfully. At the same time,  I am not sure if that one can be used for an application I wrote.

On the other hand, there is an element called cpureport in gstreamer. But I don't know how to use that. I just insert one cpureport between two elements in a pipeline, but no output report.

I install the gst-instruments well finally. It works fine to show the CPU usage and time for each element both in text and graph.
