Capturing the screen on an extended dual monitor

Davide Perini
Hi all,
is it possible to capture the screen using gstreamer on a dual extended monitor like if it it a single monitor?

I'm using this command:
/gst-launch-1.0 dxgiscreencapsrc ! videoscale method=0 ! videoconvert ! autovideosink sync=false

but it capture only one screen.

Any way to fix?

Thanks,
Davide

AW: Capturing the screen on an extended dual monitor

Have a look at this: https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/documentation/winscreencap/dxgiscreencapsrc.html?gi-language=c

Re: AW: Capturing the screen on an extended dual monitor

Hi,
thanks for the answer but that doesn't really answer my question.

That doc says how to use monitor 1 or monitor 2.
But how can I tell gstreamer to use all the available monitors if on extended desktop settings?

I have have extended desktop, I have a bigger screen resolution, how can I tell gstreamer to capture the entire resolution
on a dual or triple monitor setup?

Thanks
Davide

Have you tried to use device-name instead of monitor?
