Hi

Been looking for a plugin to extract CC – 708/608 - from MP2 and AVC ES, and this thread, https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=704881, looked very promising; however, it seems that the effort came to an inconclusive end.  I am wondering if there are now means of extracting CC from ES? Any pointers would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Development there stalled because nobody seemed to have enough interest
in it anymore. To be able to handle closed captions, you would have to
pick up the development there and finish it.
