Cofiguring Gstreamer for ARM platform

Hi,
  I am trying to configuring gstreamer for ARM Platform i gave command as below

      ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/gstreamer_ARM CC=/home/elxsi/gnutool/arm-2008q3/bin/arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc --host=arm-none-linux-gnueabi


I am getting the error as below,

configure: error: Could not link libxml2 test program.  Check if you have the necessary dependencies.

can any one give me a solution for this?
