The trip will take you to Dunas de Maspalomas, a beach at the south of
Gran Canaria and to Agüimes, a typical local town. The bus will depart
from the ULPGC college at 14:00 and we will be back at 21:00 (Parque
de Santa Catalina) in the hotel area.

So 14:00 you can go :)

Yes - a) it's the only day we could arrange b) there's plenty of other stuff
going on tomorrow that people on the tourist bus will miss c) you clearly
haven't been paying attention - it's not like this is the first mention :-P
