Gstreamer seek problem

Hi,

 

I am using http media streaming server to stream the media and a multimedia client device to play the stream. I have implemented all the player  trick modes like play,pause , fast forward, rewind etc. The play functionality is working fine but whenever I tried with seek operation, the movie frame is freezes after seeking. The critical problem is that, seek is working with small media file like 500 mb in size. So I am not able to find the solution.

 

Pls help me as soon as possible. Currently I am using the following gstreamer version.

 

1. gstreamer-0.10.28
2. gst-plugin-base-0.10.28
3. gst-plugin-good-0.10.21
4. gst-plugin-bad-0.10.18
5. gst-plugin-ugly-0.10.14

All operation is working with small movie clips.

I guess you used GStreamer for the client side, and a default http server for other side.

It may likely be a problem in the server as well. What if you try with another client sw / server sw?
