Gstreamer v4l2 rpi bug?

Arnaud Loonstra
There's some discussion about the rpi's v4l driver and gstreamer. I
thought I just mention it here because some more gstreamer specific
knowledge would helpful.

https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/849

It's now suggested the errors are pointing to gstreamer:

"""
Sorry, but the issue doesn't appear to be in the Pi code unless you can
produce some evidence as to why h264parse thinks the first IDR frame is
invalid and doesn't apparently consume any more of the data (it has 2
more buffers sitting there waiting).
"""

Rg,

Arnaud

It might be easier to answer that question if the frame that h264parse
says is invalid is available.
