How to submit patches

If we can we do pull requests in GitHub that would be great otherwise do we have to submit patches through email?

Patches are submitted via Bugzilla, see here for details:
https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/documentation/contribute/index.html#how-to-submit-patches

You might want to use git-bz from here to make this easier if you have
more than very few patches you want to submit:
http://git.fishsoup.net/cgit/git-bz
