IRC channel message: Cannot send message to channel

Please, forgive me if this is not the place to post this question, but I can't find a better place to do it.

I can enter the #gstreamer IRC chat room but when I try to post something I get a "Cannot send message to channel" error message. Some weeks ago I was able to enter the room and chat with no issues but when I tried yesterday and today, I get this error.

Does anybody know how to work around this problem?

Does anybody know how to work around this problem?

The channels is being moderated (only registered nicks can speak), due to some spamming on the servers. You can register your nick and you'll be able to use normally.
