With imagefreeze (thanks @Tim). + raspi2png [1]
I can get capture output, successfully
e.g.
$ timeout 2s gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=1.png ! decodebin ! imagefreeze ! glimagesink & sleep 1 && raspi2png
Correctly outputs to snapshot.png
If I do the same for jpeg then there is no output (bug already reported).
Is there a way I can add something like this as tests to gstreamer ?
