JPEG 2000 Streaming

boxerab@gmail.com
Hello,

A while back I was looking into using GStreamer to stream JPEG 2000 over MPEG TS. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to pursue the matter very far. I hope to have some time later this year to work on this.

In the mean time, I was wondering what are the current options for streaming a series of JPEG 2000 files with GStreamer ?  The receiving end would decompress the j2k into TIF, for example.  Is this possible in some fashion at the moment ?

Thanks very much,
Aaron

You could use RTP for example, that should work just fine already.
