Latency comparison of d3dvideosink and glimagesink on windows

Jiang Pin
I am developing some ultra low latency video system with gstreamer. To
achieved that I also have some high precision latency measurement tool.

I found d3dvideosink has about 16ms longer latency compared to glimagesink.
I guess there might be one more frame cache inside directX. Can d3dvideosink
get equal performance as glimagesink?

There should be a way, since OpenGL is not the preferred API on Windows. Someone knowledgeable in DirectX usage would have to odit the code and correct.
