NV12 support in gstreamer

Hi,
 
Is NV12 YUV planar format supported in gstreamer . Can this format be rendered without conversion.

ffmpegcolorspace can convert it into something more useful.  I
haven't heard of a video card/driver that handles it natively.

Hi,
 
Thank you. On windows both Intel and NVIDIA  graphics support NV12 natively. If the graphics support NV12 natively on the Linux , can gstreamer make use of it without using color space conversion. Is there a sink /renderer that can make use of native NV12 support?

DirectFB supports NV12 and NV21 with some matrox and nvidia cards.
