NVidia on CentOS 7.5 not using VDPAU

Jerry Geis-2
Hi All - I am using CentOS 7.5 and NVIDIA...
When I run I get this reported:
libva info: VA-API version 0.40.0
libva info: va_getDriverName() returns 0
libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib64/dri/nvidia_drv_video.so
libva info: va_openDriver() returns -1
libva info: VA-API version 0.40.0
libva info: va_getDriverName() returns 0
libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib64/dri/nvidia_drv_video.so
libva info: va_openDriver() returns -1
libva info: VA-API version 0.40.0
libva info: va_getDriverName() returns 0
libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib64/dri/nvidia_drv_video.so
libva info: va_openDriver() returns -1

rpm -qa | grep libvdpau
libvdpau-1.1.1-3.el7.x86_64
libvdpau-devel-1.1.1-3.el7.x86_64

Where does this file come from ?
I have VDPAU installed, I have the NVIDIA binary installed 390.59 driver.

Thanks,

Jerry

Vdpau VAAPI backend is disabled due to instability and lack of maintenance. Native VDPAU in GStreamer is incomplete. It's unlikely to improve as VDPAU is deprecated. We have support for NVDEC in upstream GStreamer, that would be my recommandation.

Thanks,

Jerry

Hi Nicolas.

How do I enable it?

Jerry

I have no idea, I'm just relaying messages I saw previous on this ML. I
would set my time on getting NVDEC working.
