Need help for RTP Video/Audio Streaming

Thomas Winkler-5

Hi,

I have problems while using RTP for Streaming. I want to Capture Video from Camera, Audio from Microphone (Alsa) and stream the data as RTP-Packets encoded to a waiting client.

In my first try I stream to myself, but there are my first problems.

What I’ve tried:

-          Case 1: Using H264

I’ve started 2 Shells, in Shell ONE I started the “server-v4l2-H264-alsasrc-PCMA.sh” and in Shell TWO I started “client-H264-PCMA.sh” (see “server_h264.log” and “client_h264.log”)

In this case I couldn’t get any data, finally the client script exit.

-          Case 2: Using H263

I’ve started 2 Shells, in Shell ONE I started the “server-v4l2-H263-alsasrc-PCMA.sh” and in Shell TWO I started “client-H263-PCMA.sh” (see “server_h263.log” and “client_h263.log”)

In this case I couldn’t get any data.

In both Cases you can look into the client-log-files. The client-scripts started with DEBUG-LEVEL 2.

Any Ideas what is wrong?

Re: Need help for RTP Video/Audio Streaming

Thomas Winkler-5

Hi,

is there nobody with the same problem?

In my last posts I had attached my script files.

Can anybody please use the scripts and give me confirmation about working / not working results…

I’m only searching for a working RTP-Pipeline to stream Video-data…

Best regards,

Thomas
