Hi, I have problems while using RTP for Streaming. I want
to Capture Video from Camera, Audio from Microphone (Alsa) and stream the data
as RTP-Packets encoded to a waiting client. In my first try I stream to myself, but there are my
first problems. What I’ve tried: -
Case 1: Using H264 I’ve started 2 Shells, in Shell ONE I started
the “server-v4l2-H264-alsasrc-PCMA.sh” and in Shell TWO I started
“client-H264-PCMA.sh” (see “server_h264.log” and
“client_h264.log”) In this case I couldn’t get any data, finally
the client script exit. -
Case 2: Using H263 I’ve started 2 Shells, in Shell ONE I started
the “server-v4l2-H263-alsasrc-PCMA.sh” and in Shell TWO I started
“client-H263-PCMA.sh” (see “server_h263.log” and
“client_h263.log”) In this case I couldn’t get any data. In both Cases you can look into the client-log-files.
The client-scripts started with DEBUG-LEVEL 2. Any Ideas what is wrong? ################ My System ################ Ubuntu-8.04-desctop-i386 Gstreamer0.10-alsa (0.10.18-3) Gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg (0.10.3-6) Gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 (0.10.7.debian-1) Gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mpegdemux (0.10.15-1) Gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mpegmux (0.10.2-1) Gstreamer0.10-gnomevfs (0.10.18-3) Gstreamer0.10-pitfdll (0.9.1.1+cvs20080215-1) Gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad (0.10.6-5) Gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse (0.10.6-1) Gstreamer0.10-plugins-base (0.10.18-3) Gstreamer0.10-plugins-base-apps (0.10.18-3) Gstreamer0.10-plugins-farsight (0.12.5-2ubuntu1) Gstreamer0.10-plugins-good (0.10.7-3ubuntu0.1) Gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly (0.10.7-3) Gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse (0.10.7-1) Gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio (0.9.7-2) Gstreamer0.10-schroedinger (1.0.1-2) Gstreamer0.10-sdl (0.10.18-4ubuntu1) Gstreamer0.10-tools (0.10.18-4ubuntu1) Gstreamer0.10-x (0.10.18-3) Gstreamer-tools (0.10.18-4ubuntu1) Libfarsight0.1-2 (0.1.25-1) Libgstreamer0.10.0 (0.10.18-4ubuntu1) Libgstreamer-perl (0.09-1) Libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 (0.10.18-3) ########################################### Best regards, Thomas ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. Hi, is there nobody with the same
problem? In my last posts I had attached
my script files. Can anybody please use
the scripts and give me confirmation about working / not working results… I’m only searching
for a working RTP-Pipeline to stream Video-data… Best regards, Thomas Von:
