No audio for network streaming files

gst-launch-1.0 playbin uri=https://url/file_example_MP3.mp3
gives error:
Missing element: text/html decoder

But the same file works when locally kept:
gst-launch-1.0 playbin uri=file:///home/user/file_example_MP3.mp3

Any pointers would be helpful.
