OMX plugin for Gstreamer1.6.3

Johan Basore
Hello everyone,

I have a question.
I have compiled gst-omx as bellagio on ubuntu 15.10( AMD CPU ).
But it not works with Gstreamer 1.6.3. It is blacklisted.

gst-omx is available for gstreamer1.6.3?
Which packages needed for gst-omx?
How can I configure the xdg.conf file?

Thanks

You probably should take a snapshot from GIT instead of the latest
(quite old) release. We're going to make a new release of gst-omx once
GStreamer 1.10 is out, as latest GIT master of gst-omx depends on new
API.

https://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gst-omx/commit/?id=91dd92964d2171c6e43878f93cb0980101795cf2
should work fine with GStreamer 1.6 if I'm not mistaken, newer commits
require 1.9/1.10.

There are two example configuration files in gst-omx that you can take
as reference. You will have to configure them according to the OMX IL
implementation that you have available, which components it has, etc.
