Pads getting unlinked when added to bin

I have a complex pipeline where I have nested bins. When I add a bin, with linked pads between elements, to another bin the links in my nested bin get unlinked.

 

How can I ensure that the pad links remain when I add them to the bin? See the picture attached. The lowest sub chain has nested bins.
