Plugin moves window and good/bad/ugly releases

Jan Schmidt-6
If you've been reading the release schedule in the Wiki, you should know
by now that we're in the middle of the 4 day 'plugin move window' for
shifting plugins from bad to good/ugly (and in gio's case to base).

I've just finished reviewing the blocker bugs for all the requested
plugin moves. They all look good, barring a few cosmetic issues.

I'm planning to do the moves themselves tomorrow night, if the issues I
mentioned on the relevant bugs get fixed.

After that, I'll be cutting the first pre-releases of Good, Bad & Ugly
on Friday.

Cheers,
Jan.

Plugin moves window closed. good/bad/ugly pre-releases

Jan Schmidt-2
I did all the pending plugin moves last night, and the plugin moving window
for this release is now closed.

The first pre-releases are due out tonight. There's one open blocker bug on
-good: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=348085 which is now about
fixing the documentation include some kind of example of how to use the
spectrum element. Given that it is only a docs change, I won't hold the
1st pre-release for this bug, but it still needs fixing.

I'll be disabling the interleave element to remove the blocker status from
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=506594

Pre-release tarballs will be up late tonight, UTC.

I forgot to mention - good, bad & ugly freeze at 7pm UTC, which is in just
under 2 hours.

Any chance of delaying it 3 hours?

OK. 10pm UTC tonight it is.

For the next releases (core & base), I'll nail down a precise freeze time
further in advance.
