Problems with Mpeg2files with Vaapi

Hi,

Iam facing some issues when trying to play Mpeg2 video files using Vaapi

support.Mpeg2 streams doesn't play with vaapideocder.The demuxer used

is flupsdemuxer .I have tried with mpegpsdemuxer which is avalible with

gst-plugins-bad.But the result is same.Mpeg2 video clips doesn't play.

The error is given below.

(gst-launch-0.10:30982): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_pad_set_caps:

assertion `caps == NULL || gst_caps_is_fixed (caps)' failed

Observed that caps negotiation failure is happening when trying to play

Mpeg2 video streams with Vaapi support.

Please provide some useful tips so that this issue can be fixed.

Hi,

I have used gstreamer-vaapi-0.2.5 and ffmpeg version ffmpeg-0.8.4... I have tried using video data dump of mpeg2files ..without parser.

In that case mpeg2video frame is getting displayed....None of the demuxers working with vaapidecode..cap negotiation failure in all cases.

Can some one provide me a solution for this.

What plugin are you using? What version? Please note that
gstreamer-vaapi is now located here:

Hi All

Looking for another solutions as I tried with latest version of gstreamer-vaapi located here .<https://gitorious.org/vaapi/gstreamer-vaapi/>.

Vaapidecoder is not able decode Mpeg2 frame. Though the demuxer src pad and vaapidecode sink pads are getting linked ....following error is thrown

[mpeg2video @ 0xb63262c0] decoding to PIX_FMT_NONE is not supported.
[mpeg2video @ 0xb63262c0] mpeg_decode_postinit() failure

and pipeline doesn’t proceed further.

If anyone have any good idea ... please provide solution
