Query on parsers and demuxers

Hi All,

When going through gstreamer topics.

I have found the following topics parsers and demuxers  but i didn't get any
clear idea on this.can anyone guide me on this.


In some example pipeline creations i have seen that some guys users parsers
instead of demuxers and vicevers.

Can anyone tell us about parse,Demuxer,muxer,Decoder and encoder.

Some examples for this doubt i fot from..


I found h264parser,h264demuxer what this two really do?
