Hi, all,
I've been trying to get the Perl bindings for gstreamer to work on
OpenBSD, but using the CPAN shell to install Gstreamer fails with
errors stating that Gthreads (and possibly pthreads?), anyhow, threads
in general are "not supported on this platform."
Am I just doing it wrong, or is it really true that nobody is
maintaining the Perl bindings anymore? I'd love to play with gstreamer
more, and got some sample Python running, but I don't really know
Python very well and would vastly prefer Perl.
Sorry this is not more technical or detailed, but I ended up
reinstalling the O.S. on the machine in question so I can't recall the
exact error messages. (I can replicate them if anyone would like to
know the gory details... :o)
Thanks in advance,
- Mark Beihoffer
