Re: gstreamer on mac

Alexander Horn
Artem,

homebrew is still pretty new, not as useful for me yet.
(i tried for a while, but i switched back to macports :)

on macports, just:

sudo port install gst-ffmpeg gst-plugins-bad gst-plugins-base gst-plugins-gl gst-plugins-gl gst-plugins-gl gst-plugins-good gst-plugins-ugly gst-rtsp-server gstreamer py27-gst-python

sorry for delay, hope this is useful to you or someone else

Subject: Building qtgstreamer on mac. Fails to locate

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Hi All

I am just getting started with both gstreamer and qtgstreamer. They are
somehow installed by admin in my work linux environment and I am trying
to bring them to my home mac.

I am using homebrew as the mac's package manager and it was able to
successfully install gstreamer.. sort of.

Has anybody experienced anything similar? Where to start digging from?

Best regards,
Artem.
