I can't confirm anything about ffdemux_mpegts, never used it. Though, mpegtsdemux works nice for me, I'd say worth trying out. Also, if you were capturing using dvbsrc you could try filtering PIDs (pids property).

If you're using mpegtsdemux, check the program-number property.
