Real-time metadata extension for taginject element

francesco88
I made my own version of taginject that receive metadata strings from a
server listening on the chosen  port and by reading the first line of a text
file, respectively through the properties port and location, added in my
modified version of taginject.
I suppose that the streaming server is something like Wowza with a module
for convert onMetadata event in RTMP packet to ID3 tag.
This is my guide with istructions.

Real-time metadata extension for the Gstreamer media encoder, in Linux,
using Wowza Streaming Engine on the server-side

Re: Real-time metadata extension for taginject element

Hi,

I intend to using your metadata extension for my project where we need to
inject realtime metadata in video stream which would be consumed on the web
and it must be frame-by-frame in sync with the video. In my initial tests,
your solution does transmit metadata over wowza and I can receive it in RTMP
as well HLS, however,  it is not in-sync with the video at all. Could please
you help me understand the reason?

Regards,
