My query is regarding usage of decodebin in the application program. I have been using decodebin and uridecodebin quite often while launching pipeline. But is it recommended to be used in application also? How much efficient would it be using in application? It is very highly recommended - every major gstreamer-based player I know of uses decodebin (or decodebin2, or uridecodebin). Doing it otherwise would be a bad idea, generally. There is no efficiency issue with doing this.
