SOLVED: GST_ELEMENT_ERROR problem

I got the source code from  GstSplitMuxSink.c

On line 1511 it says "cannot initialize local variable'__dbg' of type
gchar*'with lvalue of type'gchar*(const gchar*format,...)'

I'm trying to figure it out. Anyone?

figured out it was just parenthesis around the NULL.

GST_ELEMENT_ERROR(splitmux, RESOURCE, SETTINGS,
                ("Could not create the new muxer/sink"), (NULL));

using a visual studio to put together.
