Hi,

afaik SRTP is not going to be supported by mainstream GStreamer, at
least not in the short term. You can find some ideas about supporting
it in Farsight2:

As it turns out, I found nothing about it in the Farsight2 sources.
Maybe somebody here in the list has a secret branch with developments
in that sense.

Imo it should be relatively simple to add packet-processing SRTP [1]
support as a payloader/depayloader pair. The signaling phase, at least
for what is pertinent to SDP [2], could be easily added to the very
flexible SDP framework GStreamer already provides.

[1] RFC3711: not sure it hasn't been obsoleted. It appears quite old
and some references are still wip there.
[2] RFC4567: one of the wip references of above..

There is a half-finished SRTP plugin that was started by an intern and
that I never had the time to clean up. It is available at:

I've also review it and I have a long list of things to fix.. in
French.. somewhere if you care.
