Unknown data passed from rtspsrc

jml5qh
While streaming from rtspsrc, I'm seeing a lot of these sorts of messages being passed from the client to the camera: $ T?? }?? 1?u    .  i?<? ??? }??user1543434520@host-c1c8c6a2 GStreamer (Base64=JAMAVIHJAAd9nfp/ADGndQABAAAAAQMuAAACabo8HrgAAevigcoADH2d+n8BHHVzZXIxNTQzNDM0NTIwQGhvc3QtYzFjOGM2YTIGCUdTdHJlYW1lcgAAAA==). What is this used for? What does this represent? Is there a way to turn this off?

How do you capture these messages? Do they go via the RTSP connection?
Is this maybe RTCP?

I see them in wireshark. The camera manufacturer said it's not RTCP but I don't know enough about what rtcp looks like. It also comes super frequently, at least a couple of times per second.

Can you provide the full wireshark capture, including the RTSP
connection setup?

So after doing some research it looks like these are sdes messages. How are these used? I also attached a full wireshark capture. Proxy_Camera_Timeout.pcapng172.27.99.237 is the camera IP.
