Using Gstreamer to stream over internet.

strange_loop
Hi all,
I have been using gstreamer for a very long time but I always use it to
stream in local network.
I have a remote server and I want to use one of it ports as an RTSP
server(or router).
So simply a computer streams to server and another computer listens to
server and shows it.
I have found something like rtspserver and could not understand its
dynamics.

Thanks!

Hi FurkanBoy,

If you mean gst-rtsp-server, there are a lot of examples on the gitlab repo
to demonstrate how it works, eg one that works with appsrc:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gst-rtsp-server/blob/master/examples/test-appsrc.c

You can use this in combination with the rtspsrc element at the client to
setup the RTSP stream.
