Using buffer metadata in a gstreamer 0.11 plugin

Hello,

 

For a gstreamer application, I will need to pass additionnal data from one element to another for each video buffer.

I see that it's one functionnality (metadata) that comes with 0.11. As the documentation in not yet updated (pwg), could you tell me if there is already plugins which use this functionnality (give metadata and show it) ?

 

Any pointer will be highly appreciated ;-)
