Wraping a library into GST plugin

Hello,
I could not find exact informaton and pressed on time to make decision on selecting multimedia framwork.

So wanted to know what it takes to wrap existing libraries into GST plugins and use them with gStreamer framework. I did glance through plugin writing guide, but i did not get required info about wraping existing libs into GST plugin.

Any info/pointers will be highly appreciated.
