asfdemux is an ugly plugin.. any reason why?

Hi, I've been looking at asfparse in the gst-plugins-ugly, and it looks OK from what I can tell, LGPLed and such.. any particular non-obvious reason this is ugly?

afaik it's because Microsoft want licensing fees for the use of ASF.
