cerbero - Is there a way to disable certain packages/plugins/elements?

Hello,

to speed-up compilation and make resulting package smaller,

would it be possible, to select if package/plugin/element x shall be
enabled

and package/plugin/element y shall be disabled?

E.g. when I don't want VP8/VP9, can I exclude them somehow?

Are there switches or command line options to do this?

Or can it perhaps achieved by removal of some files (recipes) before
starting to build?

The simplest to start with is to write you own package (see package/
folder). This way you can select exactly the subset of GStreamer you
would like, the dependencies are then automatically pulled.

This can be done by modifying each recipes from the recipes/ folder. We
also have the variant mechanism that enbable/disable feature, but this
is just a small set of feature. Modifying recicpes configure options
and dependencies is the only way for now.
