deinterlace

Julien Isorce
Hi,

I would like to know which filter I should use bettween "fields" (from gentrans) and "deinterlace" (gst-plugins-bad) for resolution 1080i.

http://gentrans.sourceforge.net/docs/head/gst-entrans-plugins/html/gst-entrans-plugins-fields.html)

Thx

Sincerely

Julien

The reference to 'between' is not very clear in this context.
Assuming you want to deinterlace, you would use only 1 of these.
* fields only performs very simple (or no) deinterlacing; dropping one of the
fields, or some simple blending
* deinterlace (or deinterlace2) has more sophisticated ways

Mark.

Yup, I mean, which one should I use: fields or deinterlace ?
But your answer is all I need.
Thx a lot.
