error compiling

Peter Carlson-3
I am trying to compile gstreamer on redhat 9 (with mostly updated libraries)
I have tried both 0.10.11 and the most current version.
In 0.10.11 I get an error
/usr/local/share/bison/yacc.c:37: /usr/bin/m4: ERROR: Recursion limit of 250
exceeded, use -L<N> to change it
/usr/local/bin/binson: subsidiary program `/usr/bin/mb' failed (exit status
1)

Not sure what to do next.
Peter

What are you trying to compile exactly? The most current version of
GStreamer (core/base) is 0.10.22.

Cheers
