filesrc , v4lsrc element

 Hi ,
        can any body tel how the output of the filesrc and the v4lsrc element is
organised ?
        is it frame by frame or byte by byte ? or any other as such ?

Hi,

Filesrc gives 4Kbytes (blocksize property)  of data. It is unaware of
the data format it is reading so "frame by frame" concept is totally
invalid here.
V4l2src  gives a complete raw video frame per GstBuffer.(1 frame per output).
