Hello everybody,
as a reference for building a completely opensource g729 compliant codec I wrote a plugin using ITU-T g729 reference code as the core for two gstreamer elements (g729enc and g729dec).
The code is not currently as good as I'd like (I work on it in my spare time), but the plugin is happily capable to interoperate with industrial devices (like e.g. Nokia internet tablets) with a not so bad quality.
