gstreamer-1.9.1 and IPv6

I have downloaded gstreamer 1.9.1.  Looking around in the source code, I cannot find any IPv6 data structure.  Does this version support IPv6?   Did I miss anything?

All versions of GStreamer since many years support IPv6. The network
handling is nowadays done via GLib's GIO library, which indeed does
support IPv6.
