gstreamer aac encoder plugin

Kan Hu
Hi, all
I'm a engineer from Multimedia Group of Linaro.
I'll working on create a gstreamer plugin for aac encoder, it will call Andriod aac encoder library(which is Apache licensed).
I'm wondering is there anyone else in community is working on aac encoder plugin?  If not, I'm glad  to push the plugin to the gstreamer upstream after it finished.
     Thanks.

AFAIK the only effort related with that is the amr wb decocoder:

http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gst-plugins-ugly/tree/ext/amrwbdec

Which could use a ripped out version of the opencore amr decoder:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/opencore-amr/

I hope it helps.
