gstreamer with OpenAL features?

Dear all,

My name is Johnny.  I am new to the gstreamer community.

I am currently experimenting with gstreamer and plan to use it for a game project.
I searched the web thoroughly and it looks like gstreamer has the most features.  The only thing it is missing is a couple of 3d acoustics modeling openAL provides some functionality for.

Have there been any initiative for adding http://www-sop.inria.fr/reves/Nicolas.Tsingos/publis/presence03.pdf to gstreamer?  That would be an awesome plugin if someone already made it :)
