hlssink questions

gst-instpect-1.0 hlssink  does not provide any options to change the video output.

Is there no way to "not" include audio - and just have video ?

It seems my older android table can do the video that hlssink is exporting but not the audio.

So I was looking for a way to tell hlssink to NOT include any audio.

This is a camera feed and I don't need audio - just the video.

All you have to do is not feed it audio, hlssink is not responsible for this decision.

hlssink gets a single stream of muxed content. The muxing of the audio is done somewhere upstream in your pipeline.
