how to build debian packages from source

Bert Douglas
Hi All,

I have managed to build from latest git and install on my local machine.  Hooray !

But I need to also install on a colleague's computer.
How to I make debian packages?

Thanks much,
Bert Douglas

That's more something for the debian-mentors list I guess.

But be aware that I'll always upload the latest pre-releases and
releases of all GStreamer modules and related software to
Debian/experimental. In case you only need the newest and not really
latest GIT.

Re: how to build debian packages from source

Bert Douglas
Ok, I set up a new "source" for debian experimental.
Then I had to figure out about keyrings.
I can now do update ok from synaptic.

But there are no new gstreamer packages listed.

Thanks,
bert
